BKV has been around since 1965. Chris Deij laid the foundation for the company, and his four sons expanded it to what it is today. In the past ten years, we have developed into specialists in hoisting wind turbines, which we do for at least half of our assignments.

Specifically in the wind energy business, our approach proves to meet a need. Our company is big enough to offer stability and professionalism and small enough to realise projects in a flexible and venturous manner.

The reason that some clients have worked with us for decades is not only our employees or our cranes. It’s not only our expertise, our experience, our clients, or their specific challenges. It is the way all these things come together.

Working area

The name is BKV: three letters that originally stand for Barneveldse Kraanverhuur (Barneveld Crane Rental). And although Barneveld is where we have been located for over 55 years, our working area is considerably larger.

Distance is not a limitation for us. We realise projects in Western Europe, particularly in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Ireland. Clients gladly involve our specialists in projects far beyond the borders. This makes us an eminent partner for international players.

Certificates

Our organisation and employees have the necessary competences. It’s true: we have the required certificates. You can see them to the left of this text. They are proof of our qualities. However, we have more to offer than what is suggested by these papers. The quality we provide as a family company is embedded in our DNA. It is the drive to deliver thorough work. When we do that as a team, each person must be good at their own role. Not in order to fill our trophy cabinet, but because it contributes to our legitimacy in the long-term vision. There is no certificate for that, but you could interpret our 55-year existence as such.

New windturbines

We prepare for construction projects with great attention and care together with you and other parties. Once our first cranes arrive, it won’t be long until the first kWs are generated.

Service

From planned maintenance to ad hoc incidents, we are ready to hoist with our cranes. With the limited space to manoeuvre, we are extremely careful.

Dismantling

Efficiently dismantling wind turbines is a trade by itself. It requires the combination of speed and diligence, especially when the wind turbines will go on to a second life.
