I already worked with BKV on my previous project and the impression I got there is the same as it is here in Bommelerwaard; the crane operators are very skilled, the equipment is always in a good condition and the crane operations are carried out in a safe and professional manner; the lift plans are always accurate and can also be aligned to upcoming challenges on a short notice; the communication between sitemanager of BKV and myself is very good, so all in all I must say, it is always a pleasure to work with a team from BKV! Especially here in Bommelerwaard we had to face some serious challenges, without the skilled team from BKV it would not have been possible to proceed!

The first negotiations about these windmills dates back to 2011. Once construction starts, things go quickly. The ground-mounted rotor of the first windmill in Bommelerwaard had been hoisted to a height of 120 meters. The rotor was mounted on the nacelle. That attracted a lot of attention. Dozens of interested people followed the spectacular operation from a safe distance and were quite impressed.
