I already worked with BKV on my previous project and the impression I got there is the same as it is here in Bommelerwaard; the crane operators are very skilled, the equipment is always in a good condition and the crane operations are carried out in a safe and professional manner; the lift plans are always accurate and can also be aligned to upcoming challenges on a short notice; the communication between sitemanager of BKV and myself is very good, so all in all I must say, it is always a pleasure to work with a team from BKV! Especially here in Bommelerwaard we had to face some serious challenges, without the skilled team from BKV it would not have been possible to proceed!

De eerste gesprekken over deze molens dateren van 2011. Als de bouw eenmaal begint gaat het toch snel. De op de grond gemonteerde rotor van de eerste windmolen in de Bommelerwaard was naar 120 meter hoogte getakeld. De rotor werd daar aan de gondel gemonteerd. Dat trok veel bekijks. Tientallen nieuwsgierigen volgden de spectaculaire operatie vanaf een veilige afstand en waren flink onder de indruk.
